Join our program director and paper/textile artist, Deb, at the studio for this introduction to the art of dyeing and printing using natural materials. During this workshop Deb will cover the basics of transferring plant images onto paper and fabric using several different methods. We will explore the use of different mordants on different fibers and the best ways to coax prints from organic materials. Students are encouraged to bring textiles and papers to experiment with and leaves/flowers from their own gardens. The workshop fee of $50 includes a variety of fabric and papers along with all other materials and tools.
