SUMMARY:EcoDye Pop-up at ACNC
DESCRIPTION:Join our resident paper expert Deb Eck for an introduction to creating botanical contact prints and eco-dyeing on paper and fabric. Deb has been using natural materials and traditional dyeing techniques in her work with paper for many years\, and has had the opportunity to learn from some of the world’s best teachers. \nWe will be working in the backyard at Audubon\, and walking the property to collect materials to work with. Come prepared to be outside. We’ll start off with a walk\, get our dye pots started\, then chat over lunch about techniques and tricks. The day will wrap up with the magic of unbundling our work\, and seeing the beauty of nature captured on fabric and paper. \nThis is an introductory class suitable for beginners. \nBook your spot HERE
