Pearl City Clay House will be CLOSED on Sunday, June 16th for Father’s Day.

A virtual meet up for book binders, paper lovers and mixed media artists.

If you love making books, experimenting with paper structures, or messing about with mixed media, this is the group for you! A place to share what you are working on, and pick the brains of other artists and crafters. Meet other artists and crafters, and share your love for all things papery! Deb Eck, our resident paper guru, will be on hand to lend her experience and play along.

folded flurry

On the seventh day at the Clay House my true love gave to me 7 folded flurries, 6 wooly wreaths, 5 button baubles! 4 nordic stars, 3 sparkling snowflakes, 2 festive flowers and a sleepy sloth for my holiday tree!

These elegant snowflakes are made from folded paper. To be fair, they are a little tricky but their prettiness makes up for that in the end. Why not join Deb to test your patience and dexterity, and make a whole flurry of your own?

A supply list will be emailed to all registered participants before the night of the class.

snow goose holiday card

“Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat!” Or should we say flat?! Join Wendy Bale as she teaches you a contemporary take on the traditional art of paper cutting. While learning all the techniques and tricks of the trade you’ll be creating a snow goose that could be a special holiday card, or even framed and given as a gift. Workshop includes all materials and special tools. Participants will need to supply a pair of small tipped scissors.
