Cathy Panebianco is a fine art photographer from Jamestown, New York, whose work explores memory, connection, and the presence of those we love—past and present. Her photographs have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at Cortona on the Move in Italy and Imago Lisboa in Portugal, and she was shortlisted for the BBA Photography Prize at Berlin Photo Week.
Cathy’s work has earned numerous honors, including the LensCulture Critics Choice Top Ten Award, CENTER’s Project Launch Award, and Photolucida’s Critical Mass Top 50. Her debut photography book, Holding Time, was published by Yoffy Press in 2022. In addition to her studio practice, Cathy enjoys teaching photography to Jamestown Public Schools students and supports local animal rescue efforts through her work with the humane society.
