Make an Art Journal Workshop

Art journals are a great place to experiment – with color, composition, line, form, text, or that new set of paints you just bought and are afraid to try. They are a place to overcome the fear of messing things up, or getting started, or the blank page. They are a place to PLAY, and GROW your creativity, with only the rules you choose to put in place. They can be cheap and cheerful or expensively polished, whatever suits YOU!

Then join resident paper artist Deb Eck, and learn how to construct several different simple styles of art journals. We will explore both repurposing, and simple book binding techniques to create a range of journal types. Then we will take a quick look at ways you can start to play in them!
