wheel roots

This 6 week class is an introduction to throwing on the wheel for those who want to learn the process from lump of clay to finished pot. It will cover all the basics of working with clay, along with approaches to throwing, plus trimming and glazing your work. To sign up for this class please go to the first listing here.

A bag of clay is included in the registration price, along with use of studio glazes and all firings. Students have access to our hand tools and equipment, but should expect to supply their own apron and hand towel/bandana. Students will learn studio etiquette and the proper use and care of studio equipment.

This six week session meets the following Wednesdays- 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17

After the final firing, students will have a small reception in our gallery to share their work with friends and family.
