Wheel roots/shoots

This is the last Saturday 6 week session before we break for the summer – so we are doubling up, and welcoming both beginning and intermediate potters!

Roots : This is our introduction to wheel throwing class, so if you have never taken a wheel class, or it was many moons ago – you will want to start here. The 6 week class meets weekly, and covers all the basics of centering and controlling the clay, trimming, adding handles and glazing. By the end of the 6 week class you will feel more comfortable on the wheel and have a set of mugs you will be proud to use!

Shoots: Ready to take your throwing skills up a notch? If you have thrown on the wheel before, either with us, or maybe in high school and college, and want to refresh or improve your skills to throw with more skill and intention – then this is the class for you. Join Tera for a six week exploration of where the wheel can take you. Class price includes 6 weeks of instruction in a small group, along with clay, glazes and all firings.
