Darcie McLachlan has been a Pearl City Clay House studio member and instructor since the studio first opened. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Art with a focus in Drawing and Painting—but clay has become her favorite medium. You’ll often find her at the wheel or hand-building, happily creating with a cold Diet Coke and good music in the background.
Darcie loves experimenting with glazes and color, layering combinations to bring her pieces to life. When she’s not in the studio, she enjoys being outdoors, riding her bike, and spending time with her husband, Duke, and their dogs, Colby Jack and Pepper Jack.
