Elliott Hong is a ceramic artist and art educator originally from Saigon, Vietnam, presently living and working in Jamestown, New York. Elliott’s studio practice centers around designing purposeful and beautiful ceramic objects meant for the home.
In 2021, Elliott earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts from Utah Tech University. Subsequently accepted into the graduate program of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Elliott defended his thesis and received a Master of Fine Arts in Ceramics, minoring in Painting in Spring 2024.
After completing his education, Elliott taught ceramics at all levels at Jamestown Community College. Elliott is currently a resident teaching artist at Pearl City Clay House in Jamestown, New York
