Floral Embroidery

June will bring flowers regardless of the weather here in Western New York, with this floral embroidery workshop!

Kick your embroidery skills up a notch and learn how to add texture and depth to your needlework while you make your way through a lovely, floral stitch sampler. Together we will learn how to create several embroidery stitches including fishbone stitch, stem stitch, woven wheel and french knots

Previous experience with basic embroidery or other hand sewing is highly encouraged, but not required– if you’re up for a challenge! Deb, our instructor has plenty of experience teaching beginners.

During the workshop we will focus on learning the stitches to complete a small sampler hoop, that you can work on after the class is over, but floral embroidery can also be a beautiful way to customize your wardrobe, and adds panache to your visible mending skills.

Holiday table runner pop-up

We are so excited to be teaming up with another local creative to bring you this opportunity to create a one of a kind heirloom table runner to add to your holiday table.

We will be joining Tammy of Tammarie Designs in her studio for a special make and take event.

Tammy will share her sewing expertise to help students create a holiday themed table runner. Once sewn Deb will help students add a holiday-themed block print to the runner to complete it.
